ARIS2 - Advanced Research on Information Systems Security
In recent years, the cybersecurity landscape has undergone significant evolution, particularly in sectors critical to our societal functioning. ARIS - Advanced Research on Information Systems Security invites submissions for a Special Issue focusing on "Cybersecurity in Maritime, Health, Energy Sectors, and Critical Infrastructure."
Scope:
This Special Issue aims to gather cutting-edge research contributions that address cybersecurity challenges and solutions within the realms of maritime operations, healthcare systems, energy networks, and critical infrastructure. We welcome original research articles, review papers, case studies, and technical notes covering but not limited to the following topics:
- Threats and vulnerabilities specific to maritime, health, energy, and critical infrastructure systems
- Cyber-physical security in maritime vessels, healthcare facilities, energy grids, and critical infrastructure assets
- Risk assessment and management approaches tailored to these sectors
- Secure communication protocols and technologies for maritime, health, energy, and critical infrastructure systems
- Incident detection, response, and recovery strategies
- Regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
- Case studies highlighting cybersecurity implementations or challenges in real-world scenarios
- Insider threats and insider risk management in maritime, health, energy, and critical infrastructure sectors
- Secure software development practices for systems used in maritime, health, energy, and critical infrastructure
- Data protection and privacy issues in maritime, health, energy, and critical infrastructure environments
Submission Guidelines:
Manuscripts should be prepared according to the journal's guidelines, available on the ARIS website. All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure high quality and relevance to the Special Issue theme.

- Notification of Acceptance: August 15, 2024
- Final Manuscript Due: August 30, 2024
- Expected Publication: September 30, 2024
